Terms of Service

These terms apply when you use CXP Contractor Exam Prep and its study tools.

Independent service

CXP is a private, independent educational service. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the California Contractors State License Board (CSLB) or another government agency. Using CXP does not guarantee a California license; licensing decisions are made by the CSLB.

Study content

CXP questions and practice materials are independently developed educational content. They are not actual past or current CSLB examination questions, and CXP does not represent them as official state content.

Pass Guarantee policy

If you meet all guarantee requirements and do not pass your CSLB exam, CXP offers a full refund of your most recent module purchase or a lifetime subscription extension. Completion, at least 90% correct on each of three consecutive completed full mocks for the purchased module, eligible mock language, exam timing, and evidence requirements apply. This uses each mock's percent correct, not dashboard readiness. Take the CSLB exam within 30 days after the third qualifying mock. Review the full Terms of Service for all eligibility requirements before relying on this policy.

Intellectual property and liability

CXP content and branding belong to CXP. Do not scrape, copy, or redistribute question banks. CXP provides study tools as-is and is not responsible for exam, application, or business losses.

Governing law

These terms are governed by California law. Disputes are handled in Los Angeles County, California.
